Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (first timers not accepted)
• On-call requirements: minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend
• Must have travel experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and either RCIS or ARRT specialty certification
• Must be comfortable with conscious sedation
• Work with specialized equipment including Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari
• Perform cardiac procedures: LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temporary and permanent pacemakers/defibrillators, pericardial effusion, STEMI calls
• Perform interventional radiology procedures: venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, Tips, PV, fistula work, UFEs, prostate embolizations, and various internal bleeding procedures
• Circulate procedures and maintain sterile field
• Provide care for patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work in 2-room facility with approximately 8 visits per day
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Floating to affiliate hospitals is required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
