Opportunity:

RN - Circulator OR Adult

Job Details:

• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients during operative or other invasive procedures
• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care of patients in the operating room environment
• Individualize patient care according to patient's health status, age level, and surgery/procedure being performed
• Utilize clinical knowledge, judgment, and clinical-reasoning skills based on scientific principles
• Address the physical, psychological, and spiritual responses of patients having operative procedures
• Perform ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of care delivered to patients within the perioperative environment
• Work effectively as part of a specialized care team providing excellent patient care
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment required
• At least 6 months level 1 experience required
• Required certifications: Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred certification: CNOR
• Required education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Preferred education: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
