RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients
• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room environment
• Individualize patient care according to health status, age level, and surgical procedure
• Document all components of care delivered using the nursing process
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute operating room environment required
• Ophthalmology experience preferred
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures required
• Excellent understanding of AORN Standards required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Strong organizational, planning, coordination and evaluation skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills required
