Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Must successfully pass a BCA (Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia) test on-site before starting assignment
• Two years current experience required in large emergency department
• Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment
• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients during shift
• Provide safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing
• Required education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (BLS, ACLS, PALS must be through AHA, AHS, or ARC)
• New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required
• Epic experience preferred but not required - can train on-site
• English language proficiency required (speak, read, write)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
