Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Vascular Technologist - Peripheral Vascular Lab

Job Details:

• Work schedule: Monday/Tuesday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday/Saturday 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM
• Perform vascular ultrasound evaluations with Doppler and physiologic testing
• Write preliminary reports and communicate acute findings to care team
• Obtain pertinent patient health history prior to examinations
• Prepare procedure room and equipment for daily use with timely and efficient room preparation between procedures
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and report to appropriate supervisor
• May perform staff training and education duties
• 3-4 years of vascular experience required
• Required education: Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology or related field OR completion of twelve month ultrasound program
• Required certifications: BLS and one of the following - RDCS certified through ARDMS, RVT certified through ARDMS, or RCS/ACS/RCCS certified through CCI
• English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking required
