Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work rotating shift schedules including days, evenings, and nights
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• On-call and callback responsibilities per unit needs
• Charge nurse duties as assigned
• Provide care for adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries including oncologic surgery, falls, strokes, and motor vehicle injuries
• Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art unit
• Offer clinical and emotional support to patients and families during recovery
• Help patients regain independence and learn new skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Two years of nursing experience required
• Recent pediatric experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• NY nursing license required (only NY licenses accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), PALS or PEARs, ACLS (AHA only)
