SMH Level 4 RN OR - SMH : L4RN : OR RN

Job Details:

• Work Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedule
• On call/callback responsibilities as needed
• Floating assignments per unit needs
• Holiday and weekend coverage required
• Care for wide variety of patients across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Work in Level 1 trauma center environment
• Operate with 2 DaVinci robots used by multi-services
• Participate in transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Two years of OR experience required, Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• New York state RN license required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Preferred experience with specialty cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive), craniotomy procedures, and strong orthopedic background
