Opportunity:

SMH Level 4 RN Cardiac OR - SMH : L4RN : OR RN

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Provide nursing care in the Adult Cardiac Operating Room for a wide variety of cardiac patients
• Care for patients undergoing CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure procedures including VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart and Heart Transplants
• Utilize multidisciplinary approach to care for patients of all ages
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate during procedures
• Two (2) years of OR experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• New York RN License required (NY License ONLY)
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association required
• Work in a specialized cardiac surgical environment with advanced cardiac procedures
