Opportunity:

SMH Level 4 RN OR - SMH : L4RN : OR RN

Job Details:

• Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• On-call and callback responsibilities required
• Float to different units as needed
• Work holidays and weekends per unit requirements
• Care for a wide variety of patients across multiple surgical specialties
• Perform both scrub and circulating duties
• Work with specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma procedures
• Utilize 2 DaVinci robots for multi-service procedures
• Support transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• New York state RN license required (NY license ONLY)
• Two years of OR experience required, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Preferred experience with specialty cases including transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgery, craniotomy procedures, and strong orthopedic background
