Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48 hours per week with rotating shift schedules covering day, evening, and night shifts
• Float between units as needed and work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts per unit requirements
• Charge nurse responsibilities as needed
• Callback duties as required
• Specialize in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses
• Must have orthopedic experience and telemetry experience
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) and ACLS
• Telemetry interpretation skills required
• New York RN license required (only NY licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma facility experience preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work as a team player in an enthusiastic and collaborative environment
