RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work rotating day/evening/night shift schedules
• Weekend, holiday, on-call, and callback responsibilities as needed
• Charge responsibilities per unit needs
• Up to 48 hours billed at regular time considered
• Care for adult medical/surgical patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues
• Work in a unique specialty unit - one of only a handful of similar units in the country
• Must have 2 years of medical surgical experience
• Psychology experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• New York RN license required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• Opportunity for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after experience requirements are met
• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to care for varied patient population in changing environment
