Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work primarily day shifts with some late night (evening) hours and on-call requirements
• 10-hour shifts in full-time positions
• Function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor
• Prepare procedure rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
• Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment for cardiac procedures
• Anticipate equipment required during procedures and operate specialized equipment
• Maintain sterile instruments throughout procedures
• Experience required in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo
• Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty
• Must have 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
• Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824
• Critical care or Cardiac experience required
• Required certifications: RCIS through CCI or ARRT (ARRT preferred), BLS, ACLS
• Strong organizational skills essential
