RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week in day/evening/night rotation schedule
• Holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs
• Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill neurological patients in a 12-bed ICU
• Care for patients with traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies
• Work in brand new state-of-the-art intensive care unit
• New York RN License required (NY License ONLY)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with ICU acute care experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) and ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
