Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts: Saturday 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must hold NYS Radiologic Technologist license
• Advanced certification as a CT technologist required
• Current ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must be certified by NYS for contrast injections
• Use computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions
• Administer contrast materials as needed
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
• Position patients appropriately to capture required images
• Follow proper radiation safety procedures to protect both technologist and patients
• Must be in good physical health to maneuver equipment and assist disabled patients
• High school graduate with graduation from A.M.A approved school for radiologic technology and advanced training in CT required
