Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts: Saturday 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must pass facility-required competency test to be considered
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license required
• Advanced certification as a CT technologist required
• NYS certification for contrast injections required
• High school graduate with completion of A.M.A approved school for radiologic technology
• Advanced training in CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiography required
• Use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment and position patients to capture appropriate images
• Follow proper radiation safety procedures to protect both technologist and patients
• Must be in good physical health to maneuver equipment and assist disabled patients
