RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• On-call and callback responsibilities required
• Charge nurse duties per unit needs
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Pediatric cardiac care experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• New York RN license required (NY license only)
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), PALS (American Heart Association only), ACLS (American Heart Association only), NIHSS
• Provide comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with acquired and congenital cardiac conditions
• Care for patients with complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders
• Work in the only pediatric cardiac care center in Western New York
• Provide state-of-the-art diagnosis, medical/surgical treatment, and long-term follow-up care

This healthcare facility operates a specialized Pediatric Cardiac Care Center that provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment, and long-term follow-up care. The facility serves as the only pediatric cardiac care center in Western New York, offering specialized care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with all types of acquired and congenital cardiac conditions. The nursing staff receives special training to care for patients with the most complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders.
