Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

SMH Level 4 RN OR - SMH : L4RN : OR RN

Job Details:

• Work day/evening/night rotating shift schedule with on-call and callback responsibilities
• Float to other units as needed
• Work holidays and weekends per unit needs
• Care for a wide variety of patients across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Operate in Level 1 trauma center environment
• Work with 2 DaVinci robots used by multiple services
• Support transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Two years of operating room experience required, Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• NY state RN license required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Telemetry experience highly desired
• Preferred experience with specialty cases including transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgery, craniotomy, and strong orthopedic background
