RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 1:5 patient ratio
• Must complete 3 weekend shifts within 4-week schedule period
• Unit has 49 beds with medical-surgical patient population
• Perform IV insertion, foley catheters, external urinary catheters, wound care, post-operative care, trach care, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Work with Welch Allen/Dynamap VS machines, bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, and wound vacs
• Document using Meditech system
• Unit staffing includes 1 unit secretary, 5 PCTs on days/3 PCTs on nights
• Must maintain personal connections with patients, use AIDET communication, participate in bedside shift report, and conduct hourly rounding
• Missouri RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Subject to facility floating policy
• Dress code: Navy blue scrub top, navy or black scrub pants, undershirt and/or scrub jacket must be navy, white, or black (no sweatshirts or track jackets)
