RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work in Emergency Department with 101-bed capacity
• Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement, must meet department needs
• No floating outside of ED but must be flexible to work in all sections within the department
• Use Baxter pumps and GE monitors equipment
• Document using Cerner system
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Navy scrubs uniform requirement
• 2 years nursing experience required with at least 1 year in ER setting
• Must have teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time
• Experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume ED (>100,000 visits) preferred
• Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful behavior with patient experience focus
• Keep patient boards updated with information throughout visit
• Work alongside techs available in cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage
