RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Position eligible for 48 guaranteed hours
• Work in 23-bed medical surgical unit
• Required to work 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Required to work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• Float to other medical surgical units and telemetry as needed
• Required certifications: Nursing license, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, NIH
• Must have inpatient hospital nursing experience
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, Welch Allen VS machines, Dynamaps, and hover mat for patient transfers
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform general medical surgical care procedures
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs with navy, black or white jacket and undershirt
• Must demonstrate patient-focused care, attention to detail, team player attitude, and positive demeanor
