RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Position eligible for 48 guaranteed hours
• Work in 36-bed Progressive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:3 AM, 1:4 AM or 1:4 PM, 1:5 PM (with patient care techs)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must have advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with management of vasoactive drips required
• Work with equipment including BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Typical procedures include central line or PICC line placement and chest tube placements
• Patient experience requirements include bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds
• Floating policy includes rotation to Telemetry Unit
• Dress code requires charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black scrub bottoms, black or charcoal grey jackets
• Positive attitude and team-oriented personality preferred
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
