RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work night shifts at Medical Center of Aurora
• Patient ratios of 1:5 on days and nights, varies between units (estimated ratios not guaranteed)
• Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed
• Work with large cardiac population across 2 Tele floors and a PCU
• Care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Preferred: Strong Tele experience (must have 2 years)
• Nice to have: Chemo Certification for potential scheduling on Oncology unit
• Use Meditech EMR system and various types of equipment
• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units
• Team player attitude and compassion required
• Excellent learning opportunity to gain experience with diverse patient populations
• Work in a family environment where staff work together and care for each other
