RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work night shifts on Med/Surg/Ortho unit (632) at Medical Center of Aurora
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for days and nights (varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed)
• Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed
• Care for large cardiac population on 2 Tele floors and PCU
• Work with various medical equipment and use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Preferred: Strong Tele experience (minimum 2 years required)
• Nice to have: Chemo Certification for potential scheduling on Oncology unit
• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units
• Perform varied procedures depending on unit assignment
• Care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic
• Team player attitude and compassion required
• Work in family-oriented environment where staff supports each other
