Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in emergency department with 101-bed capacity
• Patient ratios: 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement - no block scheduling available
• Float within all sections of the ED (no floating outside the emergency department)
• Work with baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Use Cerner documentation system
• Navy scrubs required as part of dress code
• 2 years nursing experience required with at least 1 year in emergency room setting
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET, respectful behavior, keeping patient boards updated
• Support available from techs in cardiac monitoring, triage, and unit clerks on days and nights
• Experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and high-volume ED (>100,000 visits) preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
