Opportunity:

RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required (within past 6 months)
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer through RELIAS (2 maximum attempts)
• Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation with emphasis on sterile field techniques
• Must be able to interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry monitoring
• Navy scrubs required
• 28-bed neuro unit (D4 Neuro)
• 2-day floor-specific orientation
• Care for neuro post-surgical patients, post craniotomy, spine procedures, and CVA post-TPA patients
• No ICP monitoring responsibilities
• Charge nurse role available with no patient assignment
• First to float designation
• Use Cerner charting system
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
