RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Patient ratios: PICU 1 RN to 1-2 patients, Stepdown 1 RN to 2-3 patients
• Required to work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
• Self-scheduling available
• Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
• 1 year PICU experience required
• PALS certification required
• Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs (all navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops)
• Work with Alaris pumps and Cerner documentation system
• HUC available 9 AM to 9 PM, tech shared with PICU
• Perform IV starts, catheter insertions, assist with lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
