RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide general medical surgical nursing care in a 23-bed unit
• Work with Pyxis medication dispensing system, Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady devices, Welch Allen vital sign machines, Dynamaps, and hover mats for patient transfers
• Use Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Work 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• May float to other medical surgical units and telemetry units
• Required certifications: Valid nursing license and BLS certification
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and NIH stroke scale certification
• Must have inpatient hospital nursing experience
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs with navy, black, or white jacket and undershirt
• Work collaboratively with charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries on day shift
• Work with charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, and PCTs on night shift
• Must demonstrate patient-focused care, attention to detail, team player attitude, and positive demeanor
