RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Must have telemetry experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Work with 34 private rooms on 3rd floor unit
• Navy scrubs required for dress code
• Every other weekend scheduling
• Float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding as needed
• Work with GE Telemetry, Pyxis, and Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must have cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Must have respiratory experience with advanced airways and oxygen management
• Must have experience with cardiac drips (not titrated)
• Assist with procedures including stress tests, heart catheterization, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes
• Team player personality required
