RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Backfill contract position for 13 weeks
• Work 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Medical/surgical experience required
• Work on neuro medical/surgical unit with 30 beds
• Required certifications: BLS and NIH
• Preferred certifications: ACLS
• IV certification required for LVNs
• Navy scrub color required
• Hoop nose piercings not allowed
• Work with equipment including Welch Allyn vital signs, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
• Must be team oriented and self-motivated

This medical center operates a 30-bed neuro medical/surgical unit located on the 5th floor of the main building.
