RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Provide critical care nursing for patients who have suffered heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe medical issues
• Assess patient conditions and develop comprehensive patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support to critically ill patients
• Assist physicians during medical procedures and interventions
• Monitor and record patient vital signs continuously
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment
• Adjust ventilator settings and manage IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) equipment
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications as prescribed
• Perform suctioning and airway management procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary critical care team members
• Respond to emergency situations using established nursing protocols
• Act as patient advocate and provide family education and support
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients as needed
• Idaho RN license or multi-state compact license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Must complete specific submission template for consideration
