RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) on the 4th floor of K building
• Patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:3 during staffing challenges
• Day shift grid staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses
• Night shift grid staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses
• Work every other weekend
• Float to MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, K7 PCU, G7 PCU, and 4H CVPC units as needed
• Work with specialized equipment including Camino ICP monitors, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial lines, and CVC lines
• Assist with typical procedures such as central line insertions, chest tube insertions, arterial line insertions, and percutaneous tracheostomies
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Trauma surgical ICU background required - candidates without this experience will not be considered
• TNCC and ATCN certifications preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must be team-work oriented
• Dress code: Navy blue scrub top and bottom or navy bottom with white top
