RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• 13-week assignment length
• Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1
• 26-bed unit specializing in neuro trauma intermediate care
• Float requirements include rotation to critical care cluster or med/surg units
• Required to work weekends as needed by facility
• No call requirements
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available the entire first week
• Must have 1 year ICU inpatient experience
• Current RN license valid in Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Dress code: black scrubs only or facility-logo attire
• Work with equipment including Philips monitors, chest tubes, art lines, wound vacs, drains, EVDs, Nicom, BIPAP, Airvo
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Care for patients with neuro conditions, trauma, alcohol withdrawal, respiratory distress, and insulin drips
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1-April 1
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
