Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with limited or no experience required
• Perform technical procedures under direction of Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist
• Create diagnostic images using CT scan technology for trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Work with both stable patients and those receiving intensive care
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology evolves
• Provide patients with safe and positive experience during procedures
