RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1 RN to 1-2 patients for PICU and 1 RN to 2-3 patients for stepdown care
• Must work 3 weekends within a 6-week schedule with self-scheduling available
• May float to Pediatrics and NICU units as needed
• Required to wear all navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops uniform
• Minimum 1 year PICU experience required
• PALS certification required
• Perform various procedures including IV starts, catheter insertions, assisting with lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, tracheostomy care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
• Use Alaris pumps for medication administration and Cerner documentation system
• Work with unit secretary available 9 AM to 9 PM and shared technician support
