RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work in CV PreOp unit with 4 beds maintaining 1:1 patient ratios
• Monday through Friday schedule from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Stay late 1-2 times per week as needed
• Float within scope of practice and experience
• Work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity patient environment
• Use GE Carescape Monitoring equipment and Cerner documentation system
• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Critical care experience required, PreOp experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have excellent documentation skills, critical thinking abilities, and communication skills with interdepartmental teams
• NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - experience required
• Unit provides scrubs as required uniform
