RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Orthopedics

Job Details:

• Must start before 2/9/2026 with no exceptions
• Work on J6 Orthopedics unit with 32 individual patient rooms
• Day shift patient ratio 5:1 (6:1 stretch), Night shift patient ratio 6:1 (7:1 stretch)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed
• Perform dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter care, and NG tube management
• Maintain and remove wound vacs
• Work with specialized equipment including walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, CPM machines, sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machines, hover mats, bair huggers, and wheelchairs
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Required certifications: NC License and BLS
• Hospital experience and orthopedic experience preferred
• Must be a team player with ability to adapt to fast-paced environment and provide family-like care
• Dress code: Navy scrubs for RNs
