RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Must have Level 1 ED charge nurse experience
• 2+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in ER setting required
• Previous Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume (>100,000 visits) ED experience required
• HCA experience preferred
• Patient ratios: typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling required
• No block scheduling commitments available
• Must be flexible to work in all areas of the ED
• No floating outside of ED but must be open to float to all sections within the ED
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Equipment used: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Dress code: Navy scrubs required
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET, respectful behavior, and keeping boards updated
• Must be flexible to meet department scheduling needs
