Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float between all Tele and MedSurg units including ICU, Cardiac Tele, and observation areas
• Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses (9 miles apart, 15-minute drive)
• Notification of campus and unit assignment given 1.5 hours prior to shift start
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips including Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
• Required to pass dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 maximum attempts within 48 hours of offer)
• Must pass Sim Lab on day one of orientation or be sent home
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 on tele units and 1:4 on med-surg units
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (Sat/Sun days, Fri/Sat nights)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Scrub color: Navy
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be able to interpret EKGs
• 2-day floor-specific orientation for each unit
• First to float when staffing needs arise
• Charting system: Cerner
• Use Spectralink phones with call light attachment
