Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM (12.5-hour shifts)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform technical procedures and assist in clinical evaluation of patients in fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Utilize CT technology to create diagnostic images and provide patients with safe, positive experiences
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (including intensive care patients), research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology changes
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience
