Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM with no on-call responsibilities
• Perform CT scans in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment
• Scan various patient populations including trauma, emergency room, outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Create diagnostic images while providing patients with a safe and positive experience
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching and continuous learning as technology advances
• Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with limited or no experience acceptable
