RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours available
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
• 26-week assignment length
• Patient ratios: 1:3 to 1:4
• 32-bed cardiac stepdown unit
• Work with equipment including chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and Bipaps
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Care for post-op CABG/Valve patients, thoracotomies, respiratory failure, and chest pain patients
• 1 year cardiac stepdown inpatient experience required
• Current RN license eligible for Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• BLS and ACLS from AHA required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Must be team player and promote positive culture
• Dress code: All black scrubs with facility logo on top
• No hoodies, jackets without logo, t-shirts, open-toed shoes, earbuds, or fake nails allowed
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and patient turning with assistance
