Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM
• Pre/post shift hours variable from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
• Must take on-call responsibilities divided evenly through 4-week schedule (usually 8-12 days)
• Must be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab for call coverage
• Typically one weekend on-call during 4-week block when possible
• Work with GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention
• Assist with pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT
• RCIS certification preferred
• Holding and monitoring experience preferred
• Must demonstrate positive, flexible personality and engagement in high-quality patient care
