RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12 schedule)
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Weekend work as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend
• Float to other units as needed upon request
• Must work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• 2+ years of telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• Manage typical patient ratios of 4-6:1
• Work with 50% medical and 50% telemetry adult patients
• Use EPIC EMR system and standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit
• Black scrubs required as dress code
• Flu vaccination required November 1 through April 1
• Perform direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Contract duration 13-26 weeks with up to 5 days requested time off automatically approved per 13-week period
• Must be team player with superior communication skills focused on positive patient outcomes
