RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week based on candidate request
• Weekend requirements: Every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) unless approved by leadership
• Holiday requirements: Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Patient ratios: Typical 4-6:1
• Float requirements: As needed/customary float required upon request
• Patient population: 50% medical/50% telemetry adults only
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• 2+ years of telemetry experience required
• Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
• Equipment: Standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs required
• Contract duration: 13-26 weeks
• Time off: Up to 5 days per 13-week period can be automatically approved
• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Function within scope of nursing practice and established guidelines
