RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Assess patient conditions and plan/implement comprehensive patient care plans
• Provide advanced life support and treat wounds for critically ill patients
• Care for patients who have suffered heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe medical issues
• Assist physicians in performing various medical procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs continuously
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment
• Adjust ventilators and IABP as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Perform suctioning procedures
• Collaborate with critical care team members
• Respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
• Must have Idaho RN license or multi-state compact license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Must follow specific submission template requirements
