Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5 eight-hour shifts per schedule
• Review patient history and physician's orders
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice
• Monitor patient condition continually and report changes in status
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and report equipment malfunctions
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures
• Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality
• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures
• Enter, transmit and report scan results
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as required
• Must have BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Must have ARRT certification in RD & CT
• Associate degree in radiologic technology required; CT technology certificate program completion preferred
• Must have 2 years recent experience in Radiology & CT
