RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend requirements: every other weekend as needed by facility
• No call requirements
• Float requirements: as needed to similar or lower acuity units
• Patient ratios: nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Current RN license required (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Must have 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience (inpatient only)
• Experience required with CHF, chest pain, renal, hemodialysis patients
• Must be proficient with Amiodarone and Cardizem drips, central lines (HD catheters, ports, PICCs)
• Work with equipment including lift equipment, bladder scanner, interpreter iPad, BiPAP monitoring
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: black scrub tops and pants with Mercy cross logo on left chest
• Day shift orientation required for night shift position
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 - April 1
