Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform technical procedures and assist in clinical evaluation and patient care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Create diagnostic images using CT scan technology and provide patients with safe and positive experiences
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in New York State
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience
