RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement
• Maintain patient ratios of mainly 2:1, with some 1:1 and 3:1 assignments
• Work in 6-bed ICU unit with 1 Nurse Tech support
• Float to ICU overflow unit as needed
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Operate specialized equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG
• Perform procedures including central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation assistance
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• ICU experience required
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Dress code: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
• Unit-specific education and onboarding provided with facility educator
• Work with newest GE ICU monitors and expanding service lines
