Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work in Transfer Center-Clinical with zero hands-on patient care
• Shift times vary: 2:45 PM-3:15 AM and 12:45 PM-1:15 AM, every other weekend
• Facilitate transfers for any patient type from hospitals within and outside the organization
• Handle 12 cases per shift on average, working on 10-15 cases simultaneously
• Conduct patient assessments, obtain vitals, and gather clinical information
• Find accepting physicians and specialist doctors for patient transfers
• Utilize multiple computer applications including Cerner, TeleTracking, Tiger Connect, and Google applications
• Must have minimum 2 years ICU, ED, or transfer center experience with acute care background
• Required to have Cerner or EPIC experience and critical care assessment skills
• Must demonstrate professional customer service skills, ability to multitask, and strong computer proficiency
• Available for scheduling any day of the week with holiday coverage as needed
• No floating requirements
• BLS certification required
• Dress code allows scrubs of any color or casual wear including clean jeans and hoodies
• 1 day general hospital orientation plus 3-5 days department-specific training
