Description
Opportunity:
RN - RN
Job Details:
• Work in post anesthesia care area handling both Phase I and Phase II recovery and discharge
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio with potential for two phase 1 patients simultaneously
• Follow ASPAN guidelines and recommendations for patient delegation
• On-call requirement includes 1 weekend day call (24 hours) in a 6-week rotation plus weekday call
• Flexible scheduling with preference for 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts
• Experience with peripheral nerve blocks preferred
• Care for pediatric patients age 6 months and older including ENT procedures (tonsils, tubes, adenoids), orthopedic repairs, and appendectomies
• Handle local cases including thoracentesis/paracentesis and minor orthopedic procedures
• Manage both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Handle elective, add-on, urgent, and emergent cases
• Recover ICU patients and endoscopy with anesthesia (MAC cases)
• Support orthopedic, general, ENT, neurology, plastics, urology, and gynecology cases
• Daily surgery recovery volume ranges from 11 on low census days to 35 on busiest days
• Work with Epic technology system

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
